The launching and use of jet skis is prohibited from all
Coleraine Borough Council beaches (excluding
Portstewart Strand).
Do not ski in prohibited zones or near bathers.
Portstewart Strand
Jet Skis must not enter the River Bann from Portstewart Strand via the Barmouth. There are no facilities for slips and jet skis must be launched from the beach. Care should be taken at the Barmouth as there may be breaking waves in rough conditions. The beach is owned by the National Trust.
